Sometimes, we need to have files or folders accessible quickly without having to wade through folder trees to find what we need. This is where starring files or folders comes in handy. Think of it like bookmarking a website, only this time it’s something in your Drive!
1. Locate the file or folder you wish to star
2. Right click on the file or folder
3. Select “Add Star”
4. Any file or folder that has been starred will now appear in the Starred section on the lefthand side of your Drive. A star will also appear to the right of the file or folder in its original location in your Drive
5. Make sure to check this section every now and again. Remove any files that no longer need to be starred.
